Halogen is delighted to be working with Grainger Park to develop their new brand and website.
Grainger Park, formerly known as Grainger Park Boys Club, is one of the oldest established Clubs in the North East of England.
Established in 1928 the club provides sporting opportunities to young people in the local area. The club promotes the ethics of fair play and makes sport accessible for all.
Over the coming weeks Halogen will be working closely with Grainger Park to develop their existing logo (shown top left) into a modern brand that really engages their target market.
The website design will be built using WordPress enabling coaches to contribute to various sections of the site. Functionality will include a blog, events calendar and custom teams pages.
The site is fully responsive and therefore will render correctly on mobile and tablet devices. Halogen will also test for cross browser compatibility on Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari.
To provide slick animation and high impact the site will use Google fonts, and smooth CSS3 animation and parallax sections. The home page will incorporate a slider and animation to deliver key messages.
Overall, the design will be energetic and modern to appeal to young people and potential sponsors. Practically it will communicate events and news to existing members whilst attracting interest from people looking to join Grainger or support them.
Look out for their new website in our content managed websites page.
