Halogen originally developed the fk&b brand and website almost a decade ago. The challenge was to create a new website that was equally successful, high up the search engines and clearly showcased their quality kitchens to generate sales.
The first job was to research into how people were using the existing website to determine the structure and content of the new site. We looked at traffic flow to identify key pages and strengthen the user experience. Crucially, we identified that 64% of users were on a mobile or tablet which meant the new website needed to be supported on these devices.
We presented a number of concepts that clearly delivered key messages and strengthened the brand. Following a few amends we moved onto constructing the website.
