Halogen won a prestigious Tourism Board website award for Blackpool Zoo which prompted the WaterPark to get in touch. Our remit was simple – to create another award winning website! We did just that. We completely redesigned their static website and launched with a fully bespoke eCommerce website.
The new site excites and presents all their attractions through the use of Video and high resolution galleries. The front end is all content managed enabling admin to upload banner offers and so on. Custom modules were developed to integrate social media ensuring the site is always bang up to date. The booking application uses complex algorithms to ensure child to adult ratios, height restrictions and so on are adhered to. When a booking is made the website automatically updates the tills to enable fast track entry into the Waterpark. This has reduced admin significantly and online sales continue to grow year on year. A classic formula, creative design, technical brilliance and a whole load of commitment and enthusiasm to make it happen.
